“This property exceeded our expectations in every way. We chose North Caicos because we needed a break from the hustle and bustle, and it did not disappoint. The house: the house was amazing in every way - it could not have been better. Great open layout and extremely clean-looking. The pool is great for a cool-off after being in the sun. Filtration system for great water. Ice-maker in the freezer. Plenty of cooking materials. Washing machine if you pack light and need to do laundry. Great wifi and a firestick in case you feel like watching tv. All the amenities you could ever need. Location: it's a few minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach. It was rare if we saw more than 2 or 3 people on the beach, and those folks weren't sunbathing. Usually just taking a walk or a quick swim. The silver palm is within walking distance (along the beach), and is fantastic. KJ's grocery is close enough to walk if you had to, but rental car is the way to go. The house itself is secluded as well. No neighbors nearby. The host: Jean Louis was great the entire time and went out of his way to ensure we had a good trip. His local property manager (if he's off-island) is fantastic as well. They went out of their way to make sure we had all the local info we could need. Very responsive and easy to work with. I had a few concerns about North Caicos that were unfounded: - first, everyone talks about bugs. The breezes are usually strong on this side of the island. Between that and a bit of bug spray, bugs are a minor annoyance at best, and only on the beach. - the breezes also keep the house incredibly cool. Not sure what kind of ceiling fans are in this house, but they move more air than a shop fan on the highest setting - very impressive (I want them in my house at home). - everyone says bring all your groceries as items are scarce in the local stores, but we brought way too much, as most items are available there. If you want to cook at the house, I'd say to bring a few meat items, and leave it at that. Everything else is available locally, and at comparable prices to Provo. KJ's restocks on Tuesday mornings and you can find most anything. There is a liquor store up the road with everything you could want at decent prices. Suggestion: rent a car. This island is extremely unique and you really need to travel and see all you can. Middle Caicos is definitely worth the trip. In a nutshell, this is one of the best vacations I've ever taken. I have no criticisms. I wouldn't have changed a thing.”
John’s private feedback for you:
“John-louis, thank you again for having us at la Casina. It was the best vacation I've ever been on. My fiancee loved it as much as I did. Regine was outstanding as well. I can't say enough good things. I'm very hopeful we'll make a return visit soon. John Jackson"
